Medalla Campeonato Mundial de Futbol Uruguay 1930

Enameled medal Reproduction of the World Cup Poster for the 1930 Football Championship in Uruguay. This design was very controversial since the designs presented to the contest were not worthy of representing the event. Finally, the one by the painter, sculptor and set designer Guillermo Laborde was chosen. This design is used to mint medals like the one sold in this case and of which there are very few units. These medals were given to players and leaders. Almost none of them are in such good condition as this one.

It has a style directly related to Art Deco.
