A vintage power amplifier from the renowned brand Technics, in very good condition with typical signs of age. This high-end unit delivers excellent sound quality.

It seems Technics has achieved that elusive ideal: an amplifier that is nothing more than a straight wire with gain.

To amplify preamplifier signals to levels sufficient to drive the speakers without the slightest alteration, not only total harmonic distortion but also open-loop distortion and transient distortion have been reduced to unprecedented levels.

The extraordinary signal-to-noise ratio is also a clear indication of resounding success in reproducing clean, pure sound.

In fact, the levels of distortion and noise proved very difficult to detect and record, even with advanced measurement equipment.

Some of the most important features of the SE-9060 include DC gain and virtually imperceptible phase shift in the low-frequency range, thanks to the use of DC amplification stages.

Safety protection circuits provide complete protection for both the speakers and the amplifier unit against accidental short circuits at the speaker terminals.

It also includes a simple stereo/mono switch for using the SE-9060 as a mono amplifier (180 watts of power) in multi-amplifier setups, etc.
